Construction Cleaning Process & Quality Control

At Commercial Facility Support, every project begins with a detailed plan of action developed prior to mobilization. We have established proven systems to ensure all work is completed correctly, on schedule, and within budget.

Our structured approach provides transparency, accountability, and consistent quality throughout the project lifecycle.

    Daily Reporting & Documentation

Each workday, a detailed report is completed outlining:

    • Work performed that day

    • Team members on site

    • Areas serviced

This report is provided to the site manager daily prior to our team leaving the job site, ensuring clear communication and documentation of progress.

    Room-by-Room Quality Control System

To maintain consistent quality and accountability, we implement a room-level tracking system:

    • A task checklist is posted outside each room

    • Team members initial each task upon completion

    • The team lead inspects the room and signs off

    • The site supervisor may also inspect and sign off once standards are met

Checklists can remain posted outside rooms until final cleaning is complete. This process is especially effective when multiple subcontractors are working in the same areas.

If additional trades re-enter completed areas and fail to clean up after themselves, the documentation allows the work to be billed back as ticket work, when applicable.

    Rough Clean

Performed during the active construction phase, rough cleaning includes:

    • Removal of construction debris

    • Removal of caulking, adhesives, and residue

    • Cleaning inside cabinets and built-ins

    • Interior window cleaning

    • Cleaning of floors, walls, and fixtures

This phase prepares the site for finishing trades and inspections.

    Final Clean

The final clean is completed after all punch list items have been addressed. This phase ensures the space is fully prepared for owner occupancy and key turnover.

Final cleaning focuses on presentation, detail, and readiness for move-in.

    Ticket Work

In construction environments, additional cleaning needs often arise after initial scope completion due to:

    • Additional subcontractor activity

    • Rework or punch items

    • Unplanned conditions

Commercial Facility Support offers ticket work at a flat hourly rate. All ticket work is:

    • Documented daily

    • Completed using standardized work ticket forms

    • Signed off by site supervision

This process ensures clarity, accountability, and accurate billing.

    Our Commitment

Our systems are designed to support project managers, protect schedules, and ensure every phase of construction cleaning meets required standards for turnover and occupancy.
